Green Practices

The following practices are in already in place at our property:

Water Conservation:

- We offer a towel re-use program in our guest rooms.
- We offer a linen re-use program in our guest rooms.
- We have water efficient washing machines.

Energy Efficiency:

- We are replacing office equipment with Energy Star-rated equipment.
- We have programmable thermostats.
- We use high energy efficient lighting.
- We have occupancy sensors in every room for the air conditioners.

Waste Reduction:

- We provide our guests with the opportunity to recycle. All rooms have a recycle bin.
- Hotel recycles cardboard.
- Hotel recycles glass, plastic and metals (aluminum, steel, etc).
- Hotel purchases 30% post-consumer recycled office paper.
- Hotel purchases supplies in bulk when available.
- Hotel recycles ink and toner cartridges and purchases same.
- Hotel uses coffee grinds as fertilizer.

Clean Air Practices:

- Hotel uses environmentally preferable cleaners.
- Hotel uses high efficiency air filters with a MERV 8 or better.
- Hotel follows a preventive maintenance schedule on all handler units and coils.
